Bima and The Royal Palace
Bima-Raba is the capital of the Bima Regency and also the connecting port of eastern, central and western Indonesia. The restored former sultan’s palace contains interesting historical items such as the royal crown and some kris with gem-studded gold and ivory hilts.

Donggo Village
Donggo, 40 km by road, is the oldest village in Bima. The inhabitants here have customs and traditions which differ from those of other villages. They have preserved a unique ethnic identity, wear distinctive black clothing, observe their own hierarchical order and build their own traditional houses.
Donggo villagers earn their living by farming and cultivating in irrigated fields on hilly slopes. They produce ahigh quality woven cloth in a process of making thread, designing patterns and dyeing material still done traditionally. Bungin Island

Batu Tereng
Liang Petang cave is located in the village of Batu Tereng 29 km south of Sumbawa Besar. With its stalagmites a weaving loom. The other cave in the area is the home for dundreds of fruit bats. Also in this area of Ai Renung arescophagi, stone graves built 2000 years ago.
